Our December 2021 Fresh / Earthy Candle of the Month is... Lemon Meringue Pie

Good old Sara Lee makes our Lemon Meringue Pie every year and it's a staple on our Christmas table. Most years we find ourselves surrounded by more desserts than actual lunch food, but one thing we always have is our Lemon Meringue Pie. To me, it doesn’t feel like Christmas without one. In trying to bring a sense of normalcy this Christmas, we’ve recreated two of our favourite desserts in our December candles. 

There’s nothing worse than receiving a holiday themed item that doesn’t fit your house decor a few weeks later. This year we decided to go against that over-the-top Christmas theme and try and reign it in. We figured desserts are something that everyone, everywhere loves (and if you don’t, i'm shocked!) and so we began coming up with some ideas that we thought would translate nicely to candles. There’s nothing more refreshing in the summer months than a nice, fresh, Lemon Meringue Pie.
