Candle of the Month - Australian Lemon Myrtle

Our December 2022 Fresh / Earthy Candle of the Month is Australian Lemon Myrtle.

I was saving this fragrance for a special month and what better way to celebrate the end of a great year than with Australian Lemon Myrtle for our final fresh/earthy candle of 2022. This one is very sentimental to me as my husband and son spent 6 months on a farm in Dondingalong on the Mid North Coast of NSW cutting and distilling Lemon Myrtle essential oil by hand. We have added the oil distilled from that very farm to this blend and created a lemony scent to refresh your home.
 
The fragrance notes in this candle are lemon myrtle essential oil, lemon verbena, sage, eucalyptus and lemon. We decided to add lemon myrtle as it is known to help alleviate mental fatigue, rejuvenates the mind, helps with stress and is emotionally uplifting. With all the festivities at this time of year we thought this soothing fragrance would help to alleviate some of the stress from those feeling overwhelmed as it is known to help soothe the mind.

We also added spunky lemon and floral verbena which combine beautifully in this uplifting delight. We finished the scent with sage, eucalyptus and lemon to really add some fresh citrus notes to this earthy candle.

The beautiful white vessel also signifies the need to refresh and get ready for next year (where did 2022 go?) The inside of the jar is a shiny copper that gives off a beautiful sparkle with the flicker of the flame. We hope everyone uses this candle to reset and refresh ready for the new year.
